About the show

What is there to say about Young Mike?  Well, for starters, the name is fairly accurate, I am young, but that is in no way a claim that I am the youngest of all Mike's.  I guess if you were to take all the Mike's in the world and find their average age, I would be closer to the middle of the pack than the beginning.  Unfortunately, Average Mike was already taken by a radio host in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Anyways, besides being condescending, I also like fun.  If you don't like the stuff that I have listed below I will assume you don't like fun.  This "fun" stuff includes:

Attending concerts- but, more specifically, road trips to see concerts.  There's nothing like a road trip with friends to give you substantial evidence why the movie Road Trip is a complete load of hooey.  When is the last time I stole a bus from the blind? 

MMA- or Mixed Martial Arts for the lay person.  Not only am I a huge UFC fan, I also train in the sport so that one day I can come out to the octagon to the tune of Mims "This is Why I'm Hot" and get tapped out in 27 seconds.  For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about...I'm deeply sorry for increasing your boredom levels to "unbearable".  Seriously though, I find that if you want to do well in the fastest rising sport in North America, you need to come out to a song that will intimidate people...something like Bob Carlisle's "Butterfly Kisses"  

Pro Wrestling - OK, before you start to make fun, please consider the following..oh who am I kidding, I've got nothing.

The Office - And I am talking about the American version of the TV show.  I am so sick of trying to start a nice conversation about the hilarity of Dwight K. Schrute and instead have my conversation hijacked by some British comedy junkie that thinks Ricky Gervais is the be all-end all of funny. 

Oh, and I don't like 30 Rock.  I'd rather watch nothing and just sit around hoping that they'll one day release Caroline In The City on DVD.

Well, I hope that's enough excitement for one day.  If you still crave more, go and rent Con Air and listen to Nicolas Cage's incredible Southern accent.  It's really quite amazing.  The guy puts on a clinic in Awesome.

Who remembers the show California Dreams?  Anybody?  Well, I do.  I used to watch it every Saturday.  And you know who else remembers California Dreams.  Jimmy Fallon.  That's why he decided to give up on his dream of reuniting the cast of Saved By The Bell and reunite the cast of California Dreams instead.

Oh...and get them to perform the theme song to the show live with The Roots.  Amazing!!
