Gez Varley enjoyed remarkable success in the early '90s as half of LFO and subsequently pursued a solo career, releasing some of his recordings under the G-Man guise. Varley first released music as G-Man in 1995 with an eponymous EP for Swim, followed by a few more releases for the label, including the Kushti full-length in 1996. In 2002 he released another G-Man full-length, Avanti, this time through Force Inc, one of Europe's dominant techno labels. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
