Melanie C: A Review...

Not so much a review, perhaps a re-cap.

1) I attended Melanie C with my mother and my sister last night. We all wore Spice Girls shirts which we decided was funny at first, then we just felt a little ridiculous. Too late.

2) I am still in love with Melanie C, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

3) The show was too loud for my mother. She wouldn't come out and admit it straight up, but I can tell. She's a trooper though. And I will not take her to see Iron Maiden perform "The Trooper" even though, as stated, she is one.

4) I love listening to Mel C talk. In fact, I wanted more talk, less rock. Not that I don't want to hear her sing... just that I love when she speaks. She should do a spoken word tour. Just stand on stage and read the paper even. I would go to that.

5) Only one Spice Girl mention.

6) I bought a shirt. Just the latest in a long line of concert memorabilia for which I will be ridiculed publicly. (I still stand by my purchase of  Hilary Duff hoodie)

7) Mel C and Anne Murray on back-to-back weekends. Good times.
