Even more Fred Penner... The Mall Shuffle story... gold!!!

I was at Chapters at St. Vital Mall a couple of years ago and I was walking down one of those notoriously narrow isles when I saw Fred Penner walking my way. I was immediately starstruck. I proceeded to walk towards him, but when we were going to pass each other we did the MALL SHUFFLE. What is the MALL SHUFFLE you ask? Well it is when you are walking towards someone going the other direction in a crowded mall and you proceed to pass him on your right and the other person proceeds to pass you towards his left, causing both of you to collide and pause for a minute, just to repeat the entire motion on the other side. And, usually one more stint occurs on the original side. It is kind of like chicken gone bad.

Anyways, this happened to me with Fred Penner, which after 3 motions of the mall shuffle we looked up at each other and chuckled. Well, I did the mall shuffle with my childhood idol!
