With her smoky, but smooth, vocals, Davina (born: Davina Bussey) has advanced quickly to the upper echelon of Detroit's pop music. Her 1997 debut album, Best Of Both Worlds, included the hit song, "So Good", which was featured in Laurence Fishburne and Tim Roth's film, Hoodlum.

The sister of a piano player, Davina studied the rudiments of music theory, songwriting, publishing, producing, engineering and managing a record label. In a 2001 interview, she explained her goals as "singing about life?and how everything comes from life; love, sexual energy, spiritual energy." ~ Craig Harris, All Music GuideRead More
