A student of voice, acting, and choreography since his eighth year, by 12 Stevie Brock was ready to make a play for teen pop stardom. A fortuitous meeting with the manager of P.y.t. and B2k in his hometown of Dayton, OH, led Brock to Johnny Wright, the influential manager of Britney Spears, *nsync, and The Backstreet Boys, who signed the young performer to the WIRE imprint. Brock first appeared on wax in 2002 as a guest vocalist on fellow WIRE act Triple Image's single "Boy Next Door." He then entered the studio to work on his own debut, while promoting himself with appearances at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and publicity in fan mags like Teen Beat, PopStar!, and Tiger Beat. Brock's self-titled debut appeared in June 2003. His debut single was a remake of Color Me Badd's 1991 hit "All 4 Love." ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
