Monorchid

Led by Chris Thomson and Chris Hamley (both alums of the Washington D.C. cult band Circus Lupus), Monorchid also included Andy Cone, Tom Allnut and Andy Coronado. Debuting in early 1996 with the single "Imposter Costume," the group released a series of subsequent seven-inch efforts before launching the full-length Let Them Eat...The Monorchid in early 1997. Shortly after completing their sophomore LP, 1998's Who Put Out The Firenull, Monorchid disbanded. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
