Q-Tex

by Greg Prato
The Scottish techno/dance duo Q-Tex originally formed in 1991, with their career initially guided by DJ/producer Scott Brown (when Brown began concentrating more on his career, Gillian Tennant took his spot as Q-Tex's leader). The group has enjoyed numerous hits in their homeland, having also performed in such countries as Australia, Holland, and Germany. Q-Tex's long full-length album was 1997's Into the Light, while issuing such singles as "Let the Love," "Equazion," "Power of Love," "Lies," and "Falling to the Earth," among others. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide
