Raheem, a member of The Geto Boys' crew back as early as 1986, began recording two years later with The Vigilante. Showcasing production and lyrical themes which echoed The Geto Boys' own, it was followed four years later by The Invincible. Raheem moved to Solar Records by the mid-'90s, releasing Down South Comin' Up and Tight 2 Def during 1995-1996. His Greatest Hits 1986-1997 compilation was released in mid-1997. In the spring of 1998, he released Tight 4 Life. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
