Drunk-tank refugees I Can Lick Any Son Of A Bitch In The House crash through a fistful of barroom stomps on their second album, Put Here To Bleed. Now fleshed out into a full band, Mike Damron's former one-man project lurches and occasionally stumbles along the path blazed by the Exile-era Stones and currently inhabited by a number of sweaty-toothed blues-rock revivalists. Although Damron's breathy drawl is passionate, it tends to be a little one-note and gets to be repetitive near the end of the record, but the sheer fire and brimstone that smolders from the band is enough to keep the tinder lit.
