Although T-model Ford is from Mississippi, not all of his influences are Mississippi Delta influences -- his dusky, moody electric blues also owe something to Chicago (Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf), Detroit (John Lee Hooker), and Texas (Lightnin' Hopkins).
