Popular Brazilian club/dance group É o Tchan continues their streak of sexually charged releases with O Funk Do Tchan, a collection of club-ready music that is essentially a Portuguese variation of Miami bass. Songs like "O Funk Do Tchan" or "Dança da Motinha" wouldn't sound out of place alongside subversively sleazy bass anthems like Tag Team's "Whoomp! There It Is," 69 Boyz's "Tootsee Roll," or Quad City DJs' "C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)." Though it's easy to appreciate the bass-heavy beats that make these songs so popular in Brazilian clubs, those who aren't fluent in Portuguese are only getting half the enjoyment. Read More
