Jaki Byard - Foolin' Myself

This studio date features the rhythm section from Jaki Byard's big band The Apollo Stompers, with bassist Ralph Hamperian and drummer Richard Allen. Other than Byard's solo of the title track and the bassist's rather dull "Breath," this CD is devoted to Byard originals.
