Bauer Hockey Stick Recall...
Toyotas, potato chips, cat food, and now... hockey sticks? Yes, apparently there's a nasty level of lead paint on these Bauer hockey sticks...
Short-term exposure to high levels of lead can cause vomiting, diarrhea, convulsions, coma or even death, says Health Canada. Ongoing exposure to even very small amounts of lead can be harmful, especially to infants and young children.

Ban Canadian Music?! Two can play at that game...
A radio station in Buffalo, New York (www.wedg.com/Article.asp?id=1716218&spid=22410) was feeling a little blue after Canada beat the US in the gold medal hockey game at the Olympics this past weekend, so to retaliate, they decided they were going to ban all Canadian music for a day... I decided to flip it around and ask, if you could ban something American for a day, what would it be? Here are some of the responses I got over the phone and over text...
- NASCAR everything
- I would ban Americans from claiming we say a-boot instead of 'about' - we don't say that! SO ANNOYING!
- CNN and Fox News
- Their beer cause it sucks

Haiti's Halo
Kaylie Gardiner, her mom, and her step dad are planning to go to Haiti to help with the rebuilding efforts... before they go though, they're collecting gently used stuffed animals to take for the orphans they will be working with, something to put a smile on their faces... they've named the fundraiser Haiti's Halo... if you have any you'd like to donate, they can be dropped off at the Staples on Pembina at Bishop, and the Price Chopper on Stafford at Pembina... the goal is 2,000 stuffed animals, and the deadline is March 17th.
